Amazon drops the bomb on the new HTC handset
Now we all know there is an announcement due from HTC with regard to new handsets, one of which is rumoured to be the HTC Desire HD, but could Amazon possibly have burst HTC’s bubble with putting two new mystery handsets up for pre-order on their site?
It’s more than likely that they will be contract mobile phones, like the iPhone 3GS but the mystery handsets which appear at the end of the smart-phone listing on Amazon are codenamed on the site as the HTC Vision and the HTC Ace, as of yet there is no news on any deals or how they will compare to any iPhone deals but they appear to be the sim free version that Amzon have as the HTC Vision has a pre-order price of £455 and the HTC Desire HD has a pre-order price of £415.
There has been previous mention of these two handsets on a German network database that had the two devices listed only as ‘coming soon’.
Let’s not all get too excited though as it has been known for website managers in the past to put up web pages about new and ‘upcoming’ handsets purely based on rumours and what people are saying on the internet about the ‘imminent’ release of new handsets.
Some tech websites are saying they have contacted Amazon about this mysterious appearance of the two new handsets so there is probably going to be news about whether they actually know anything about the handsets or not, and if they are genuinely selling them.
